Summertime

COVID-19 is still running rampant in Dallas, so we haven't left our house much the past month. The extent of our fun has been a visit from Zsa Zsa and Papa, a couple visits to Cedar Hill and a recent visit from Tim, Christine and their new puppy Tonk. Wren LOVED Tonk! She chased after him, cuddled him and called him, "ah good boy!" After a Joovy ride with Mama and Zsa Zsa Visit from Zsa Zsa Babcia babysitting so Mama and Dada can go on a date "Unlocking the door" with Mama's keys They'll never find me here... COVID-19 and this little cutie

The past two moths have been pretty uneventful as we have been sheltering-in-place due to COVID-19. Businesses are gradually starting to open up in Dallas, but it looks like I'll continue working from home into the summer. We've been pretty fortunate in that Wren's daycare has remained open (with strict protocol), so I've been mostly distraction-free at home. Some highlights from the past month are that Wren has a new best friend next door- Botsy the mini goldendoodle! She's our neighbors' tiny puppy, and the two of them get so excited when they see each other. She is learning new words, including "waffle", "cuckoo", "duck", and what sounds like "bubble". She calls Oscar "Gar Gar" which Cameron and I find delightful. Papa and Zsa Zsa came to visit in April. Easter 2020

We had Easter lunch with Babcia and Dziadziu on Sunday. Wren got so many goodies in her Easter basket and lots of fun new toys. She ate Babcia's salatka  and squealed while she played her new piano. We had to keep Easter small this year because of the shelter in place guidelines, but Wren still had such a wonderful day. <3

Wren's First Ski Trip

We went to Park City with Cam's family last week. The timing was unfortunate, as the COVID-19 pandemic forced the ski resorts, restaurants and bars to close in the city. We got two days of skiing in before our trip was reduced to social distancing. Tim and Christine were also in Park City visiting Christine's parents, so at least we got to be quarantined together. We also celebrated Cam's 35th birthday together. Wren was not a big fan of the snow, but she loved climbing the stairs in our 3-story condo and soaking up all the attention from family and friends! Arriving in Salt Lake City Wren loves Dada <3 Daycare at Deer Valley Wren's favorite attraction at the house Zonked out on the way back to Dallas
