Zsa Zsa is gone

A lot has happened since the weekend. We switched Wren to a sensitive formula, moved back into our remodeled house (yay!), and Zsa Zsa left after staying with us for a week. We've noticed an improvement with Wren's fussiness since switching formulas. Our newest challenge is that Wren only wants to sleep in someone's arms. She'll wake up 30 minutes after being put down for a nap and cry until somebody holds her. She will NOT have it if we put her back in her bassinet after she falls back asleep. Any parents have tips on how to get through this?

4 month photo dump

I have neglected updating Wren’s blog for several moths, so here is a huge photo dump featuring Christmas, her 3rd birthday, and first time skiing in Crested Butte. Our little one has such a funny little personality. Right now she’s really into cooking and food toys, and she’s turning out to be kind of a girly girl. She insists that everything is “pink”, and the books she picks at bedtimes are typically princess books and fairy tales. She continues to be obsessed with the big bad wolf and witches. Her favorite food is French fries, but she fortunately does a good job cleaning up her fruits and veggies too. Summer into Fall

We've had some pretty big developments since my last update. A few days after my last post, Wren began crawling out of her crib and transitioned into a big girl bed! It's been an exhausting 2 1/2 months. She fights like crazy at night to get into bed, and for several weeks she was waking up in the middle of the night and running into our room. Things have improved, but she's still adjusting! We went to Miami with Baba and Yaya in July. They were such great help with Wren, so Cam and I had a little time to relax. Wren loved staying in her "house" with Baba and Yaya and swimming in the hotel pool. She's still not a huge fan of the beach! Wren has been doing great with her potty training! She only wears Pull-Ups at night and has few accidents these days. I was bribing her with toys every time she peed or pooped in the potty, but lately I've had to up it to chocolate or cookies.
